About the Project

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a global non-formal education and training program that empowers young people to dream big, celebrate achievements, and make a positive impact. They needed a corporate website that clearly serves three distinct user segments—young participants, organizations, and donors—while strengthening the brand’s global presence.

The Challenge

The key challenges were to design a website that guides young people and organizations through their respective application processes, encourages sponsorships and donations, and maintains a cohesive, modern brand experience across all touchpoints.

Colors & Typography

Color-coded Design System & Application Forms

We developed a modern design system using color-coding to differentiate between user segments. This ensures clarity and intuitive navigation while maintaining a visually cohesive and professional appearance across the website.

We implemented application forms for young participants to easily join the program. The forms are clear, accessible, and guide users step by step, creating a smooth onboarding process that increases program participation.

Organizations Map & Protected Resources

A Google Maps-based interactive map shows all current participating organizations. This feature helps users explore opportunities geographically, discover nearby programs, and visualize the global reach of the Award.

Organizations can now apply online and access a protected resources library with guidelines and materials. This streamlines the onboarding process for institutions and supports program management efficiently.

Donation System

We created a donation form supporting both single and recurring contributions. This feature encourages supporters to contribute easily, helping increase revenue through sponsorships and donations.

The Outcome

The redesigned website delivers a user-focused experience for participants, organizations, and donors alike. Clear navigation, color-coded user flows, and streamlined application forms make it easier to join the program or support it financially.

Additionally, the website strengthens the Award’s global brand presence, encourages engagement across all segments, and provides a scalable platform for future initiatives, helping the organization continue to inspire and empower young people worldwide.
